The War Ghost and other true ghost stories by Joshua Warren

Dean and some friends were joking in a friend's house until they saw a ghost known as the "War Ghost."  

I will tell you the story as long as you believe in ghosts.

They are real.

I've heard lots of ghost stories, but I'm going to tell you about the War Ghost.

Once, on a crisp afternoon, Dean, Guy and some other friends were joking in a friend's house until they saw it...the War Ghost.

The house used to belong to the ghost's girl friend.  The War Ghost had been a soldier who was a pilot in the military and had fought in a war.  When the soldier's ghost came home from the war, he was carrying roses for his girlfriend.

You see, the pilot had been shot down by an enemy airplane.

I don't think they ever found the corpse.

But the afternoon that Dean and Guy saw the ghost, it got cold and the room started to smell like roses.

"What the heck is happening?" Dean said to Guy.

"Why are you asking," Guy asked.

"Because I think I peed my pants," Dean said.

When Dean and Guy were leaving the house, they turned around to see the ghostly white roses, but when the soldier died the roses were red.
